Christian Women’s Ministries

In 1995 six women and one man from five different Christian denominations filed legal documents to create an inter-denominational ministry for women and girls, and their families. That year Christian Women’s Ministries (CWM) was recognized as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit religious organization. As a non-traditional inter-denominational Christian ministry, the organization has made many changes with the times. Today, more than two decades later, women and men participate and serve in specific aspects of CWM. We invite the participation of all who want to grow spiritually and serve lovingly.

Christian Women’s Ministries receives funding and support through voluntary IRS tax deductible donations, gifts, and bequests—monetary, materials, services, and otherwise. Consult your tax professional regarding your eligiblity to deduct your gift to Christian Women’s Ministries. But, more than tangible gifts of support, we appreciate and thank you for your non-material gifts of prayer, encouragement, and sharing with others about what we do and are planning to do, especially our projects and programs, such as: Pathways 2 Permanent Health; Scripture SchoolBible Women Dramatic Cameo Presentations; Coming of Age in Christ, and our newest project, Bible Health.

If you would like to contribute materials, supplies, services, or in other ways, or to  volunteer, we welcome your offer for consideration. Please give us details in your message on our Contact Us page or contact me personally at ChristineCarpenter@me.com. We are also available by phone or email to talk about your material, financial, or volunteer time. We will do our best to make room for your gift, and definitely pray for God’s guidance in finding and fulfilling the will of God in your life and service in the Kingdom of God.

We pray that God blesses you and yours with everything that pertains to Life and Godliness (2Peter 1:3).

Most sincerely,

Christine M. Carpenter
Director

Christine Carpenter
Christian Discipler

Christine is bold in her faith, strong in her love, determined in her commitment to do as Jesus did, through the power of His Holy Spirit, and “go about doing good and healing all who are oppressed of the devil” (Acts 10:30) through the Holy Spirit in her as she abides in Christ. Her proclamation to others is from First Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

She believes that when we let the Holy Spirit lead and guide us into all truth we begin to see the hidden gems in the treasure chest of our Holy Book. Then, as we study Scripture, we find that we too demonstrate biblical truths that enrich our life before God, and lives of those around us. Her personal mission in life is to share with anyone she can all the good news of the gospel of Christ and the Kingdom of God that has set her free: spirit, soul and body.

Christine is an author of several religious and secular books. She is also a presenter at conferences, seminars, workshops, and retreats. Her presentations and materials integrate biblical truths, Christian virtues, self-esteem enhancers, and effective communication and relationship skill building through multi-media and visual aide experiences.

Christine became an ordained minister in 1979. Her ministerial training includes Bible school and seminary. Her church work experience includes prominent denominations and interdenominational organizations in Oregon, Texas, Florida and Kentucky.

Since 1995, Christine has been Pastor and Director of Christian Women’s Ministries, an interdenominational Christian ministry. Besides pastoral responsibilities, her ministry includes researching, writing and presenting programs and materials focusing on Scripture and its practical use in everyday life. She currently serves as director and facilitator of the Pathways 2 Permanent Health project, Coming of Age in Christ program, and Bible Health Seminars & Workshops.

For example, she has been developing media for distribution, especially focusing on “Coming of Age in Christ.” The free classes are offered to anyone interested in focusing on growing spiritually in the will of God. Developed print and technological materials are distributed for free to individuals and through small group gatherings.

Christine received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Speech Communication from Oregon State University and Portland State University, respectively. She has a Certificate in Women’s Studies, and a training certificate to instruct for the Virtues Project. She is also trained to instruct DiSC.

Christine lives with her husband on the Oregon Coast near her very active 96-year-old mother. Christine’s three grown children all have families, making her a grandmother of eight and a great-grandmother of three.
